After the German automaker had its taste of highs in the motor sports world which was through the Porsche 550 Spyder the company came out with another highperformance car dubbed as the Porsche 911. It donned the trademark rearengine design which is a sixcylinder powertrain and sleek body kits among others. The welldesigned and manufactured Porsche parts pushed the Porsche 911 to become one of the most popular models of the company. Among its feat in the motor sports world are from racings and rallies. Aside from experiencing highs in speed wars the Porsche 911 enjoys decent sales. A cheaper version of the 911 christened as Porsche 912 which only had a fourcylinder engine was also released in the 1960s. Today the 911 sports car already has contemporary features to boot.

Porsche continues its legacy of excellence in the motor sports world until this day through its new models Cayenne and 911 among others.
